Wilson is dealing with ankle and knee injuries, according to the team’s latest injury report. Wilson has started all three games this season at left guard. If he cannot play Sunday against Carolina, veteran backup Ben Brown is likely to replace him.
Outside linebacker K’Lavon Chaisson (knee) returned to practice Thursday after being the only other absent player Wednesday.
Star cornerback Christian Gonzalez increased his activity at the start of Thursday’s practice. He was listed as limited after Wednesday’s practice with the same hamstring injury that kept him off the field for most of training camp and the start of the season. Gonzalez is expected to play Sunday.
The Patriots and Panthers will release their next injury reports Thursday evening.
