Gonzalez has not practiced in more than five weeks following the left hamstring he suffered during a training camp practice on July 28. He was the only non-participant at Thursday’s practice.

Rookie left tackle Will Campbell (ankle) and defensive tackle Christian Barmore (not injury related) were limited, according to the team’s injury report. Campbell’s ankle injury is new, and puts the team at risk of deploying backup Vederian Lowe or seventh-round rookie Marcus Bryant at left tackle versus Pro Bowl pass rusher Maxx Crosby on Sunday.

Rookie receiver Efton Chism (knee) remained a full participant, while new cornerback Charles Woods (groin) was upgraded to full participation. Woods had previously been listed with a groin injury and a concussion.

The Patriots will release their final injury report Friday.
