Renville County organizes countywide clean-up
Renville County will once again provide an opportunity for residents and businesses to easily and inexpensively dispose of tires of all sizes, appliances, computer-related electronics, and products containing a cathode-ray tube, such as televisions and computer monitors. Collections will take place from June 5-7 throughout Renville County.
A change this year will be the combination of the countywide clean-up with the fluorescent bulb, ballast, and rechargeable battery collection, that usually took place in September. These materials cannot be legally buried or disposed of in landfills.
The countywide clean-up event is open to all Renville County residents and businesses. Non-residents are welcome to bring items to the collection but will not receive reduced disposal fees.
For more information about locations and charges, visit Renville County’s website at www.co.renville.mn.us or call (320) 523-1144 or (320) 523-3706.
