On the 1st at 10:22 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted with traffic control for a classic car run coming into Heartthrob Exhaust, US Highway 12, Litchfield Township.
On the 1st at 10:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical alarm at a residence on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. Both were canceled a short time later, as there was no medical need.
On the 1st at 10:48 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on North Holcombe Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 1st at 11:55 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance, per the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, to a medical at a residence on MN Highway 15, Maine Prairie Township. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
On the 1st at 12:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Watkins Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Luella Street, Watkins. One individual was transported to the St. Cloud Hospital.
On the 1st at 1:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Alexander William Bapp, age 18, of Darwin, on a Meeker County Warrant and transported him to the Meeker County Jail.
On the 1st at 1:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on South Marshall Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was treated on scene and there was no transport.
On the 1st at 3:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen vehicle from a residence on 738th Avenue, Kingston Township.
On the 1st at 3:10 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to assist in unlocking a vehicle at Casey’s General Store, West Astro Boulevard, Cosmos. The deputy was able to successfully unlock the vehicle.
On the 1st at 3:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of illegal dumping near a residence on County State Aid Highway 4, Dassel Township.
On the 1st at 4:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a driving complaint near a residence on North Milky Way Street, Cosmos.
On the 1st at 4:25 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of illegal dumping at the Forest City County Park, County State Aid Highway 2, Forest City. The items had been picked up prior to the deputy’s arrival.
On the 1st at 5:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical in the parking lot of Davis Motors, North Sibley Avenue, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 1st at 6:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to check the welfare of an individual, per the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, in the area of 325th Street and County State Aid Highway 19, Kingston Township. The deputies checked the area and found all to be okay.
On the 1st at 8:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a car/deer accident in the area of MN Highway 15 and 273rd Street, Dassel Township. The deputy made contact with the driver and observed front end damage to the vehicle and assisted in contacting a tow to remove the vehicle from the roadway.
On the 1st at 9:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions near a residence on MN Highway 22, Litchfield Township. The deputy made contact and determined all was okay.
On the 1st at 9:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of juvenile trouble at the Darwin City Park, West St Paul Street, City of Darwin. The deputy checked the area and found that the juveniles had left prior to arrival and all was okay at the park.
On the 1st at 10:04 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at the Darwin Ski Hill, US Highway 12, Dassel Township. The deputies made contact with some individuals who were advised of park hours and asked to move on.
On the 1st at 10:07 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Meeker Memorial Hospital with transporting an individual to Willmar’s Woodland Centers.
On the 1st at 10:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Grove City Rescue Squad, Grove City Fire Department, and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a medical at a residence on Lindstrom Avenue West, City of Grove City. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 1st at 10:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual with providing information about a possibly missing overdue motorist out of Belgrade.
On the 1st at 11:01 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office observed suspicious activity on Lake Minnie Belle, 193rd Street, Greenleaf Township. The deputy advised several individuals of park hours and advised them to move on.

On the 2nd at 12:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Watkins Fire Department, at the request of the Stearns County Sheriff’s Office, for a report of a fire alarm at a residence on 340th Street, Forest City Township. It was determined to be a false alarm and all was okay at the residence.
On the 2nd at 1:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched Gold Cross Ambulance for a medical at a residence on East 2nd Street, City of Litchfield. One individual was assisted at the scene and no transport was needed.
On the 2nd at 2:13 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an alarm at Jack’s Standard, Veterans Drive, City of Watkins. The deputy checked the building and property and found all to be okay.
On the 2nd at 3:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of suspicious activity at a residence on Central Avenue South, City of Watkins.
On the 2nd at 7:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public on US Highway 12, Acton Township, Grove City.
On the 2nd at 8:57 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint occurring on US Hwy 12, Grove City. A deputy located the vehicle and determined that everything was okay.
On the 2nd at 9:39 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information regarding suspicious activity on MN Highway 24, North Kingston Township.
On the 2nd at 11:08 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took information regarding suspicious activity occurring on County State Aid Highway 18, Greenleaf Township.
On the 2nd at 12:16 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Krista Jean Knowles-Pederson, age 38, of Eden Valley, on State Street South, Eden Valley, on an Anoka County felony warrant for 5th Degree Drugs and a Dakota County misdemeanor warrant for disturbing the peace.
On the 2nd at 12:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a custody dispute occurring on North Neptune Street, Cosmos. The deputy made contact with both individuals who were advised options and there were no further issues.
On the 2nd at 1:44 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report on a theft that occurred on US Highway 12, Dassel Township.
On the 2nd at 2:38 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a possible suicidal individual at a residence on Davis Avenue, Litchfield. The deputies were canceled prior to arrival.
On the 2nd at 2:48 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Litchfield Rescue Squad, Litchfield Fire Department, Grove City Fire Department, Cosmos Fire Department, Dassel Fire Department and Eden Valley Fire Department for a slough fire that started at a residence on County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield Township. Also assisting were US Fish and Wildlife and MN State Patrol.
On the 2nd at 3:32 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an off-road vehicle complaint on MN Highway 55, Manannah Township. The deputy checked the area and found that the vehicles left prior to arrival.
On the 2nd at 4:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions occurring on 673rd Avenue, Hutchinson. The deputy located the driver who was advised of the complaint and given a warning.
On the 2nd at 4:28 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a domestic that occurred at a residence in the Watkins Trailer Park, Watkins. The situation was mediated.
On the 2nd at 6:11 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted an individual at a residence on 675th Avenue, Forest Prairie Township.
On the 2nd at 6:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Meeker County Jail with transporting an inmate to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 2nd at 6:55 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a found item at the intersection of CJ Moe Boulevard and 7th Street South, City of Dassel. The deputy placed the item in protective custody until the owner could be located.
On the 2nd at 7:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a request to check the welfare of an individual at a residence on 675th Avenue, Forest Prairie Township. The deputy made contact with the individual who was found to be okay.
On the 2nd at 7:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to an off-road vehicle complaint near a residence on 4th Street North, City of Watkins. The deputy made contact with the owner who was advised of the complaint and would speak with the rider of the vehicle.
On the 2nd at 7:47 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a report of a suspicious person at a residence on North Armstrong Avenue, City of Litchfield.
On the 2nd at 8:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint in the area of 300th Street and MN Highway 15, Kingston Township. The deputy checked the area and determined that the vehicle left prior to arrival.
On the 2nd at 8:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Litchfield Fire Department for a report of the rekindling of an earlier fire near residences on 279th Street, Litchfield Township. The Litchfield Fire Department was able to extinguish the fire without incident.
On the 2nd at 8:35 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a possible ordinance violation at a residence on Cedar Avenue North, City of Watkins. The deputy made contact with the homeowner who was advised of other burning options and given a warning for the ordinance violation.
On the 2nd at 9:12 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received information regarding a car/deer accident on MN Highway 22, south of Eden Valley. The information was forwarded to the MN St Patrol.
On the 2nd at 9:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Cosmos Fire Department and Cosmos Ambulance for a report of a car/deer accident with injuries near the intersection of County State Aid Highway 12 and 590th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township. One individual was transported to Hutchinson Hospital and a report was filed. Also assisting was the Cosmos Police Department.
On the 2nd at 9:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Dassel Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance for a report of a medical at a residence on 215th Street, Ellsworth Township. One individual was transported to Hutchinson Hospital.

On the 3rd at 12:49 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on MN Highway 22 and County State Aid Highway 3, Manannah Township. The deputy located the hitchhiker and after investigation arrested Stephanie Ann Baier, age 27, of Litchfield, on a Meeker County misdemeanor warrant for probation violation.
On the 3rd at 3:18 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an intoxicated individual at a residence on Central Avenue South, City of Watkins. The deputy made contact with the individual and assisted in taking them to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 3rd at 10:04 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a driving complaint on US Highway 12, Darwin. The deputy spoke to the driver and warned them of their driving conduct.
On the 3rd at 1:40 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of found drugs at a residence on East William Street, Darwin. Upon arrival of the deputy drug paraphernalia was collected and brought to the evidence room.
On the 3rd at 4:14 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Fire Department to tend to some flare ups from a grass fire the day before in the area of 279th Street and County State Aid Highway 11, Litchfield Township.
On the 3rd at 4:43 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at Emmaus Place, Litchfield. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
On the 3rd at 5:18 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity on Summit Cove, Dassel. Upon arrival of the deputy everything was found to be fine.
On the 3rd at 6:52 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched the Litchfield Rescue Squad and Gold Cross Ambulance to a medical at a residence on Simons Avenue West, Dassel. One individual was transported to the Hutchinson Hospital.
On the 3rd at 7:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of unsafe conditions on County State Aid Highway 6, Collinwood Township. Upon arrival of the deputy he had all the vehicles removed from the side of the road.
On the 3rd at 8:17 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on Cedar Avenue South, Watkins.
On the 3rd at 8:22 p.m. a Meeker County deputy found two rings on 3rd Street North, Dassel.
On the 3rd at 8:26 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a tree across the road on 615th Avenue, Cedar Mills Township. The Meeker County Highway Department was contacted to remove the tree.
On the 3rd at 8:30 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 9-1-1 hang up from the Red Goat, Cokato. It was determined to be an accidental dial.
On the 3rd at 10:13 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Meeker County Jail with a disturbance involving an inmate on North Ramsey Avenue, City of Litchfield.
On the 3rd at 10:49 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a cellular 9-1-1 hang-up call in the area of 310th Street and 518th Avenue, Swede Grove Township. The deputy checked the area and found all to be okay.
On the 3rd at 10:59 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Eden Valley Fire Department for a report of a dryer fire at the Suds Hut, Meeker Avenue West, City of Eden Valley. The fire was extinguished with approximately $3,000.00 in damages and a report was field.

On the 4th at 12:03 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity at a residence on Atlantic Avenue East, City of Dassel. The deputy checked the area and found all to be okay.
On the 4th at 2:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to assist the Litchfield Police Department with a traffic stop on County State Aid Highway 1, Litchfield Township.
