The committee will meet virtually on Nov. 12 and select one contributor finalist for the Hall of Fame selection committee to consider for possible election in 2025. Between four and eight total new members will be selected for enshrinement. The 2025 class will be announced in February and enshrined in August.

Kilroy was the Patriots’ general manager from 1979 to 1982 and vice president form 1983 to 1993.

Kraft bought the Patriots in 1994. The team has won six Super Bowls and appeared in four more during that span of time.

Extra points

Patriots rookie quarterback Joe Milton III was one of the team’s practice players of the week for his efforts last week in preparation for Sunday’s win over the Jets. “Everything they told me to do, everything they asked of me,” Milton said about why he earned the honor. “I try to add my own little sauce to it. But they basically just told me Aaron Rodgers is one of the best quarterbacks in the league, and this is what he do, so make every throw out there your way or his way, it don’t matter. Make the throw. I said, ‘Let’s do it’” … As for Milton’s best throws of the week, “I had two crossers to Pop (DeMario Douglas) on the run to the right. And both were facemask shots. Guys were in my face, trying to stop me from throwing. I was able to get the ball out and lead him upfield. Those were probably my two best passes last week” … Patriots veteran QB Jacoby Brissett had praise for young wide receiver Kayshon Boutte, who has had a knack for making big plays in recent week. “Obviously not being a part of the offense first couple weeks and still sticking to it, putting the work in on the practice field and a lot of that stuff starting to come to fruition for him,” Brissett said. “As a teammate of his, it’s obviously really rewarding to see that when it finally starts to go your way. He’s making the most of his opportunity.”
