Man shot and killed in Jamaica Plain: Boston Police

Boston Police are investigating after a man was shot multiple times and killed in Jamaica Plain Thursday night.

Cops responded to a report of a person shot at Craftson Way and Huntington Ave., at around 9:35 p.m.

“On arrival, the officers located an adult male victim shot multiple times,” police said in a statement. “He was transported to a local hospital and pronounced (dead).”

The address of the shooting is near the MBTA’s Back of the Hill station, where the T reported police activity on Thursday night.

“Green Line: Shuttle buses replace service between Brigham Circle and Heath Street due to police activity at Back of the Hill,” the T posted Thursday night. “Trolleys may stand by at stations.”

The Boston Police Department’s Homicide Unit is investigating the fatal shooting. Police are urging anyone with information to contact the Boston Police Homicide Unit at 617-343-4470.
