2024 BMW X2 is a great Compact Coupe SUV for consumers

While the small category of Coupe SUV’s exist in the German markets, BMW delivers the compact coupe SUV consumers have been inquiring about. The BMW X2 xDrive28i offers a $42K base price range, and is both ultra comfortable and roomy.

Clocking in with a zero to sixty time at just over 5 seconds, the 312 horsepower compact coupe SUV is powered with a 2.0-liter BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 4-cylinder, 16-valve engine. Paired with a 7-speed dual clutch automatic transmission, the BMW X2 has no issues getting up and going both in traffic and on the highway. With 3 drive mode options, the BMW X2 covers sport, economy and your own personal setup nicely.

As BMW loves to grant that interior flare in their vehicles, the X2 is no different. We noticed a red and black interior which was a great compliment to the Skyscraper Grey metallic exterior. The Driver Assistance Pro Package and M Sport Package were added which combined for $4,200, while the Premium Package added an additional $4,000. Heated front seats and steering wheel added $550 and remote start an additional $300. Maintenance was also included for the first 3 years or 36,000 miles for routine items such as oil change, vehicle checks, air filter and spark plugs.

With the feast continuing in the competition department with Mercedes and their coupe-style SUV platforms, the X2 certainly brings a lot to the table. The comfort and ride height are good, the space and storage is significant, and the overall stature brings a lot to be desired for the price range. As the coupe-style SUVs are not my favorite personally, they have purpose and for the right price, satisfy a lot of wants for consumers.
