Peppers, a non-participant Wednesday, was present for Thursday’s opening periods.. He did not participate in individual drills. Center David Andrews, safety Kyle Dugger and offensive tackle Caedan Wallace all remained absent, indicating they will be unavailable for this weekend’s game against Miami.
Elsewhere, wide receiver K.J. Osborn, backup center Nick Leverett and rookie right guard Layden Robinson increased their participation at the start of practice. All three players stood to the side at the start of Wednesday’s session and were later listed as limited on the team’s injury report. Leverett projects to start in Andrews’ place Sunday.
The Patriots will release their next injury report Thursday evening. Sunday’s kickoff is set for 1 p.m. from Gillette Stadium.
