The Waltham High School Athletic Hall of Fame Committee announced the new inductees into the school’s Athletic Hall of Fame. The recipients are Greg Platt (class of 1982, track), Frank Frenna (class of 1982, football), Patrick Pelissier (class of 1997, basketball), Cassie Pelissier (class of 2002, basketball), Gino Distefano (class of 1984, soccer), Jaymie Rautenberg (class of 2002, softball), boys basketball team (class of 1967, state semifinalist).
The induction ceremony will take place Friday, Oct. 25 at the American Legion starting at 5 p.m. (cocktail hour), followed by dinner at 6.
