2024 KIA Carnival is better than a minivan
When the thoughts of a minivan enter Grasso’s Garage, next to a sporty wagon, there really isn’t anything better. You may think I am crazy as the styling and curvatures don’t really boast tremendous appeal to the eye, but the usage is exorbitant.
The 2024 KIA Carnival is here, and what a beauty it is. Specifically designed to move people and things, our tester was a SX Prestige model wrapped in Astra Blue, with a gray interior, and was not only roomy, but unbelievably comfortable.
With 2nd row power VIP lounge captain seats were easily designed for adults. Heated and Ventilated seats were also a nice addition. We noticed a rear seat entertainment package as well which includes dual screens for $1,000 more. For the front row driver and passenger, it is all space and usability. The wide seats and unfathomable legroom was tremendous. A dual 12.3” screen panoramic display was crisp and clear and in typical KIA fashion, easy to use. The SX Prestige package included, dual power tilting & sliding sunroof, LED lights, Bose Premium Audio and a Heated Steering Wheel.
Our generous base price of $46K, and paired with a 3.5L V6 engine was quiet and noise free on the inside. A 8-speed automatic transmission was also present. While riding on 19-inch wheels. Do I need to mention the 10 year/100,000 mile limited powertrain warranty, and 5 year/60,000 mile limited basic warranty and 5 year / 60,000 mile roadside assistance.
With the expansive SUV market that continues to grow in size, the minivan world is a dying industry. Although manufacturers are still selling them on the lot, we see less and less on the road everyday. I can’t say enough about the KIA Carnival, and in my opinion is the best vehicle for moving adults around as its comfort, size and usability tops the charts. If you enjoy going out with the neighbors, family and/or friends, the need for one person to drive and others to ride, certainly surfaces as plans are created. Well, I am here to tell you, that the KIA Carnival solves that concern swimmingly.
