Bentley Expands Monterey Car Week 2026 Presence With Stazione Remota and Rare Supersports Icons
Bentley is going bigger at Monterey Car Week 2026, adding a new automotive culture event to an already packed schedule that stretches across the Monterey Peninsula. The British luxury marque has partnered with Tutto Bene, automotive culture hub Race Service, and Milan-based design studio BorromeodeSilva to launch Stazione Remota, a new annual gathering making its debut Saturday in Carmel Valley. Rather than another traditional concours-style affair, the invite-only event is designed around a more relaxed mix of cars, music, coffee and conversation, with the goal of bringing together enthusiasts from different corners of car culture.
Bentley is bringing an appropriately eclectic collection of machinery to the first Stazione Remota. Among the biggest attractions will be the Bentayga X Concept, which offers a look at how Bentley could approach a more serious off-road version of its luxury SUV. Sitting on the opposite end of the Bentayga spectrum will be the wonderfully unusual Joe’s Bentayga, finished in pink and dark green and equipped with a functioning Joe & The Juice espresso bar in the cargo area. Guests will also have access to test drives in current Continental GT and Bentayga models, while Bentley is setting up a listening room with a live DJ and vinyl lounge.
Performance enthusiasts should have plenty to look at as well. Bentley will display its latest Continental Supersports wearing a striking Dragon paint treatment combining Black Crystal and Dragon Red II. More interestingly, the modern Supersports will share the spotlight with one of its spiritual ancestors, a 1926 Bentley affectionately known as Smoky. One of just 18 original Super Sports examples from the era, Smoky was heavily modified for competition in 1934 with a more powerful 4½-liter engine, lower bodywork and improved aerodynamics. The car was raced 40 times during the 1930s by Kit Baker-Carr and is making its first trip to the United States in its 100-year history.
Stazione Remota is only one piece of what Bentley says will be eight events and activations during Monterey Car Week. The Home of Bentley returns near The Lodge at Pebble Beach as the brand’s main gathering place, combining vehicle displays with Bentley craftsmanship, design consultations and luxury partners. Visitors will also get a second and final opportunity to purchase items from Bentley’s 1919 Collection, which debuted earlier this summer at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The Joe & The Juice Bentayga will make another appearance there, while Bentley designers will be available in a dedicated commissioning area for clients looking to personalize their next car.
Bentley will also return to The Quail, A Motorsports Gathering for the 23rd time, where its display will include the Supersports, Flying Spur S, Continental GTC S and Bentayga Artenara. The recently updated Flying Spur is also scheduled to appear at Stazione Remota after its showing at The Quail. From there, Bentley’s week continues with its beachfront dinner, annual Signature Party at the Beach & Tennis Club at Pebble Beach, and other events leading into Sunday’s Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance. Bentley will once again occupy a prominent location near the judging ramp, with company executives also participating as honorary judges.
What makes Bentley’s Monterey strategy particularly interesting is the effort to reach beyond the traditional definition of an ultra-luxury car event. Pebble Beach will always revolve around extraordinary automobiles, but the surrounding week has increasingly become a broader celebration of design, fashion, music and enthusiast culture. Stazione Remota appears tailored to that changing environment, especially with Tutto Bene’s emphasis on making car culture approachable to a younger audience. Putting a century-old racing Bentley, a modern Supersports, an off-road Bentayga concept and an SUV serving espresso in the same place sounds unconventional, but that may be exactly why Bentley’s newest Monterey gathering could be one of its most memorable.
