Recently, on June 16, 2026, Walt Disney Animation Studios released the trailer on its official YouTube channel. The official release date for the film is also out. What is the Story of Hexed?

The film is about a girl with mysterious supernatural powers. She feels outcast among the other teenagers as she is different from the others. She is taken to a hidden world where witches stay. Billie fights against powerful witches to keep the positivity in the town.

The trailer and poster for Hexed are out now. It was released in mid June 2026. The movie was first announced during the 65th animated feature film.

The trailer starts with Billie entering her school, while other students and classmates are looking at her in disguise. Some appreciate her style, while others are talking about why she is here. The next shot shows her sitting in the toilet, while her teacher is asking her to write a 10-page essay. While struggling with the stress, her bracelet with a purple stone broke and fell on the ground. While she was trying to retrieve it, she felt a unique power in her hand, and the bracelet on its own reached her hand. Anxiously, when she stepped out of the toilet, everything around her appeared to be floating in the air, including a mouse. 

Curious teacher, along with students, stepped inside the washroom only to witness a complete mess. She was expelled from the school. She reached home, and in her room, she tried to find the reason behind this chaos. 

Only then did she reach a mysterious world of witches. She found an old book, along with other things like a pen and an ink pot that can talk. She stepped into a mysterious world, Hexed, the town of witches. Billie found her new powers and tried to learn new learning skills.

What is the Release Date of Hexed?

Disney had announced the release date. It is coming to the theater on 25 November 2026. For OTT users, it will take some time to premiere. Hexed is a coming-of-age fantasy comedy film. Initially, the plot was about a teenage boy and his mother. But in 2026, the plot got an update, and the boy character was changed to center on Billie, a teenage girl, and her mother, Alice.
