Explore: The cars of Beijing, China
Xiaomi YU7
After covering the Beijing Auto Show, let’s have a quick look at the cars in the street. Like we noticed two years ago when we were last there, the taxi/DiDi landscape is logically full of locally-produced Beijing EU5. This hasn’t changed in the time we were away.
The Tesla Model Y has earned its title of second best-selling car in the country, with many examples of the facelifted model already on the road.
Onvo L60
Nio is very well represented in Beijing, as well as its mainstream brand Onvo. No Firefly spotted though. Voyah and Arcfox are also seen often, as well as the Toyota Corolla sedan, rather surprisingly.
Xiaomi has established itself nicely in the Beijing car landscape, with both the SU7 and YU7 already frequent.
Like in Shanghai I spotted two uber luxurious Yangwang U8.
Other models witnessed during the trip include:
Lynk & Co 900Xpeng GXMaxus eDeliver 5Tank 400Xiaomi SU7 and BYD Seagull
Maextro S800
M-Hero M817iCar V23 and Luxeed S7iCar V23Hongqi H6Geely Galaxy M9Fang Cheng Bao Tai 3Avatr 11 and 12Audi E5
