MANCHESTER, Inglaterra (AP) — Morgan Rogers anotó dos brillantes goles en solitario para vencer el domingo al Manchester United 2-1 y mantener al Aston Villa en la lucha por el título de la Liga Premier
La victoria en Villa Park el domingo fue la décima consecutiva en todas las competiciones para el equipo de Unai Emery, que se encuentra tercero en la clasificación y a tres puntos del líder Arsenal.
Rogers disparó dos veces al ángulo superior, uno a cada lado del gol de Matheus Cunha.
El centrocampista adelantó al Villa a los 45 minutos al cortar desde la izquierda. Su segundo gol llegó al 57, nuevamente curvando el balón más allá de la estirada del portero del United, Senne Lammens.
Con esta victoria, el Villa mantiene su racha positiva, ganando 11 de sus últimos 12 partidos en la liga.
