WASHINGTON (AP) — Las Fuerzas Armadas de Estados Unidos informaron el lunes que lanzaron ataques contra tres embarcaciones que presuntamente contrabandeaban drogas en aguas del Pacífico frente a Sudamérica, dejando ocho personas muertas.
Añadió en un comunicado publicado en redes sociales que los ataques fueron contra “organizaciones terroristas designadas”. Dejaron tres muertos en la primera embarcación, dos en la segunda y tres en la tercera. No presentó evidencia.
La Casa Blanca ha dicho que Estados Unidos se encuentra en conflicto armado con los cárteles del narcotráfico mientras intenta frenar el flujo de drogas ilegales hacia el país.
