More snow on the way: Here’s how much we could get this weekend
Another round of snow is on its way, potentially impacting weekend travel.
In the Twin Cities, snow is likely to begin overnight Friday and continue through Saturday. By the time it wraps up, the metro could see 3 to 6 inches, with the highest amounts to the south, according to the National Weather Service.
Snow totals are expected to be higher in far southern Minnesota, with 7 to 10 inches expected.

A winter weather advisory is in effect in the Twin Cities starting at midnight through the end of Saturday. In southern Minnesota, a winter storm warning is in effect starting Friday night.
