Hardaway y Jokic lideran a Nuggets en victoria 123-112 sobre Timberwolves
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Tim Hardaway Jr. y Nikola Jokic guiaron el sábado a los Nuggets de Denver, quienes se impusieron 123-112 sobre los Timberwolves de Minnesota, para apuntarse su séptima victoria consecutiva.
Los Nuggets caecieron de sus dos aleros titulares, Christian Braun (esguince en el tobillo izquierdo) y Cam Johnson (tirón en el bíceps derecho). Ambos se lesionaron el miércoles, durante la victoria de Denver sobre los Clippers de Los Angeles.
Se espera que Braun esté fuera de actividad al menos seis semanas.
Los rivales de la División Noroeste se han enfrentado en los playoffs dos veces en los últimos tres años. Los Timberwolves barrieron la serie de la temporada regular el año pasado, pero Denver ha ganado ambos encuentros esta campaña.
Los equipos habían jugado por última vez en Minneapolis en octubre. Edwards y Jaylen Clark estaban fuera por lesiones, y los Nuggets se sobrepusieron a un déficit de ocho puntos al medio tiempo con un tercer cuarto de 45 puntos en camino a una victoria de 127-114.
