Chaisson also scored a touchdown, pressuring Cam Ward into a fumble and then returning the ball four yards to the end zone in the third quarter. Chaisson’s score put the Pats ahead 31-13, which finished as the final score.

Sunday also marked the first two-sack game of his career. This is the first time Chaisson has been named Defensive Player of the Week. His award is the third weekly honor for the Patriots this season, after running back/returner Antonio Gibson (Week 2 at Miami) and cornerback/returner Marcus Jones (Week 4 vs. Carolina) were each named AFC Special Teams Player of the Week in September.

In six games this season, Chaisson’s recorded 12 tackles, 4.5 sacks, eight QB hits and a fumble recovery. He also boasts the highest pressure rate of all the Patriots’ top pass rushers.
