Singapore August 2025: BYD (+82.5%), Tesla (+48.7%) shine, Zeekr up
Zeekr sales are up 200% YoY in Singapore.
4,650 new cars hit Singaporean roads in August, a solid 17.7% year-on-year improvement. This leads to a year-to-date volume up 25.7% to 33,233. BYD (+82.5%) remains the faraway leader with a whopping 19.8% share, with Toyota (+7.4%) and Honda (+8.5%) at a distance and losing share YoY. Tesla (+48.7%) is up to 9.8% share vs. 6.4% so far this year, while Mercedes (+0.7%) underperforms and closes out the Top 5. MG (+93.7%) is the only additional Top 10 member to beat the market. Below, GAC (+61.9%), Xpeng (+58.1%), Audi (+54%) and Volvo (+50%) make themselves noticed just as Zeekr (+200%) and Chery (+466.7%) continue to gear up.
