The Red Sox have already lost this weekend’s series to the Yankees and seen their playoff positioning grow more precarious by the day.

Fortunately, they’ll have their ace on the mound for Sunday night’s series finale.

Garrett Crochet will take the hill tonight as the Red Sox look to avoid a home sweep at the hands of their biggest rival. Crochet (15-5, 2.57) will face off against New York’s Will Warren (8-6, 4.22) in hopes to snapping Boston’s three-game losing streak.

The Red Sox will also look to regain their footing after seeing each of their top playoff competitors rip off lengthy win streaks. Entering Sunday the Mariners had won eight straight, the Rangers six straight, Blue Jays and Rangers four straight, and the Yankees and Guardians three straight games.

Boston’s lineup will largely remain the same, with Jarren Duran, Alex Bregman and Trevor Story going 1-2-3 with Rob Refsnyder in right field, Carlos Narvaez behind the dish and Romy Gonzalez at second base.
