Maye, Jones, Schooler and Landry are all first-year captains. Spillane was a captain for the last two seasons with the Raiders, and Henry is a captain for the third straight year with the Patriots.

All six of the Patriots’ original 2024 captains, center David Andrews, safety Jabrill Peppers, long snapper Joe Cardona, linebacker Ja’Whaun Bentley, quarterback Jacoby Brissett and defensive end Deatrich Wise, are no longer on the roster. Henry and safety Kyle Dugger, who is still on the team, were replacement captains.
