Massachusetts Trooper Michael Proctor fired over Karen Read case actions
Disgraced Trooper Michael Proctor has been fired.
The State Police announced this morning that Proctor, the lead investigator in the Karen Read murder case, was guilty of not doing his job.
“Today, the Massachusetts State Police announced the decision of Colonel Geoffrey Noble to accept the Trial Board’s recommendation to terminate Michael Proctor from his position as Trooper,” the MSP said in a statement.
The MSP adds: “The Trial Board found Mr. Proctor guilty of the two charges presented during the proceeding: Article 5.8 Unsatisfactory Performance (and) Article 5.10 Alcoholic Beverages.”
