Gophers announce firing of men’s basketball coach Ben Johnson
The Gophers athletics department announced after 1 a.m. Thursday it has parted ways with men’s basketball coach Ben Johnson.
Johnson was 56-71 overall, 22-57 in Big Ten play over four seasons. He was 15-17, including 7-13 in conference play last season.
