UK nations February 2025: Volvo XC40 in Top 10 of all nations
The Volvo XC40 ranks #2 in Wales and #3 in Scotland
Thanks to SMMT we can share with you the Top 10 best-sellers for each UK nation in February. Keep in mind this is a zoom in by nation, all sales figures are already included in the February 2025 UK update. This month England (+0.5%) is the only nation in positive, and just, to 72,190 sales. Northern Ireland is down -5.3% to 3,495, Scotland down -9.9% to 5,834 and Wales off a painful -13.2% to 2,323. Year-to-date, England performs best also at -1.2% to 189,631 units, followed by Scotland at -2.9% to 18,050, Northern Ireland at -6.2% to 8,336 and Wales at -11.9% to 6,944.
Podium finishers are as follows: the Tesla Model 3 is #1 in England, the Kia Sportage #1 in Northern Ireland and Scotland and #3 in Wales, the MG HS #1 in Wales, #6 in Scotland and #10 in Northern Ireland, the Mini Cooper #2 in England and Scotland, the VW Golf #2 in Northern Ireland, the Volvo XC40 #2 in Wales, #3 in Scotland, #7 in Northern Ireland and #9 in England, the Tesla Model Y #3 in England and the VW Tiguan #3 in Northern Ireland, #6 in England, #7 in Scotland. Other great performers include the Peugeot 3008 #4 in Northern Ireland and #2 YTD and #6 in Wales and the Peugeot 2008 #4 in Wales and #6 in Northern Ireland.
