Wayzata High School students recognized for their community service
Six students from Wayzata High School were recently recognized with the Prudential Spirit of Community Award for their community service achievements.
The honorees are juniors Miranda Mead, Tristan Nelko and Mimi Wang. Honorable mentions went to seniors Gabrielle Bobgan and Paige Goedderz and junior Saee Patil.
Their applications will now advance to the state level for judging, and two students will be selected from each state as ‘State Honorees’ in February. State Honorees will each receive a $1,000 award and an all-expense-paid trip to Washington, D.C., with a parent or guardian for a national recognition event.
