Richard Charles Deschamps, 65, of Littlefork, Minn., died at his home Thursday, July 20, 2017.
Richard was born Oct. 7, 1951, in Chatham, Ontario, Canada.
He moved to Littlefork in the 1980s.
He married Margo Derby on May 5, 2017, at Littlefork Lutheran Church.
Richard was a hardworking man. He built a house for himself and Margo and did it all himself.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing in his pond, and working on his house and land.
Richard was a steam and pipe fitter and was a proud union member.
A Celebration of Life will be conducted at 11 a.m. Sunday, July 30, at Littlefork Lutheran Church.
