Overturned fuel truck, cleanup shuts down I-35W North in Lino Lakes early Friday
An overturned fuel truck snarled traffic in Anoka County early Friday.
The Minnesota State Patrol responded at 3:48 a.m. to an overturned tractor-trailer on northbound Interstate 35W near Lake Drive in Lino Lakes.
“The semi was the only vehicle involved and was hauling fuel that eventually leaked due to the crash,” a spokesman with the Minnesota State Patrol reported in an email to the Pioneer Press. “There were no injuries with this incident. Hazardous material crews worked to clean up the area.”
The northbound lanes were reopened at 10:39 a.m., the State Patrol reported. An investigation into the crash continues.
