Moldova September 2024: Dacia Duster #1, 9 SUVs in Top 10
The Toyota Corolla Cross ranks #8 in Moldova in September.
Data by our local partner CE Auto shows a Moldovan new car market up a solid 11.7% year-on-year in September to 879 units, leading to a year-to-date tally up 16.1% to 7,143. The Dacia Duster (+226.1%) remains the most popular vehicle in the country with a dominant 8.5% share vs. 5.3% for the #2, the Kia Sportage (+38.2%). The Skoda Kodiaq (+25%) advances three spots on last month to land on the third step of the pdoium ahead of the Toyota RAV4 (-20.4%), leader a year ago. The Suzuki Vitara (+10%) and Hyundai Tucson (+150%) complete a Top 6 entirely composed of SUVs. In fact there are nine SUVs in the Top 10 this month: add the Toyota Corolla Cross, Yaris Cross and Geely Coolray.
