Drake Maye removed from injury report, seven Patriots questionable

WR Javon Baker (illness)
WR Tyquan Thornton
LT Vederian Lowe (ankle)
LB Sione Takitaki (knee)
DT Jeremiah Pharms
QB Joe Milton III (emergency third QB)

— Lowe was ruled out Thursday when the team traveled from Boston to London. He didn’t make the trip after suffering an ankle injury last week. Expect some shuffling on the offensive line with head coach Jerod Mayo saying Friday that rookie Layden Robinson will play this week. The Patriots will start their seventh offensive line combination.

— The Patriots will dress DeMario Douglas, Kayshon Boutte, Kendrick Bourne, Ja’Lynn Polk and K.J. Osborn at wide receiver with Baker and Thornton, a healthy scratch, inactive.

— Takitaki is a bit of a surprise. He was one of the Patriots’ higher profile outside free-agent signings this spring. He played sparingly in his return off of the PUP list last week against the Texans and was officially listed as questionable for Week 7 with his knee injury.

— Pharms is replaced in the defensive tackle rotation by Eric Johnson, who was a healthy scratch last week.

— Milton can only play if starter Drake Maye and backup Jacoby Brissett suffer injuries.

— The Patriots catch a break with the Jaguars’ inactives including starting running back Travis Etienne. Expect to see more of Jaguars running back Tank Bigsby with Etienne out.
