Mounds View 37, St. Michael-Albertville 0: Mitchell Olson ran for 124 yards and two scores on offense, and returned an interception for a touchdown on defense as the Mustangs made a strong final case for a No. 1 seed in the Class 6A bracket.

Jacob Sampson was 9 for 10 through the air, including a 6-yard touchdown pass to Jack Dahl.

The Mustangs enter the playoffs on a four-game winning streak, and are allowing just more than five points per game in that span.

Lakeville South 20, Champlin Park 13: The Cougars (5-3) ran the ball 58 times for 183 yards on Thursday. Bo Bokman led the way with 94 yards rushing, as well as the game-winning touchdown with 3 minutes, 21 seconds to play. Connor Cade also ran in two scores.

Eagan 34, Eastview 7: Brooklyn Evans ran for two of Eagan’s five rushing scores as the Wildcats (5-3) raced out to a 34-0 first-half lead.

White Bear Lake 21, Osseo 17: Porter Cleary rushed for three scores for the Bears (3-5), who’ve won three straight after an 0-5 start. Levi Arvig also had an interception for White Bear Lake.

Maple Grove 31, Minnetonka 21: Maple Grove (8-0) capped off an undefeated regular season and cemented itself as the team to beat in the Class 6A playoffs. Kaden Harney hit Dylan Vokal for three touchdown passes, but the game-winning score was a fumble recovery touchdown by Bo Draheim that broke a 21-21 tie in the final frame.

Caleb Francois threw for a touchdown and ran in two others for the Skippers (6-2).

Lakeville North 42, Burnsville 0: The Panthers (7-1) bounced back after their first loss of the season as Riley Grossman threw for three scores — two of which went to Caleb Pederson — and Jonathon Parris ran for 97 yards and two touchdowns.
