Tuesday’s high school roundup: Rachel Egan’s four goals help Watertown stay unbeaten

Rachel Egan scored four times as Watertown (12-0) defeated Middlesex League opponent Arlington 7-1 in field hockey.

Junior Kendall Graves scored a hat trick and added an assist for good measure, lifting Reading (11-1) to a 9-0 win over Wilmington.

Mia Zimmerman buried a pair of goals and dished an assist, combining with Emery Cappallo’s goal and assist to lead Monomoy over Barnstable, 4-0, without allowing a shot on goal in Cape and Islands League play.

In the South Coast Conference, Ally Arruda notched 11 saves in a shutout and Cynthia Morales rewarded her with the only goal Apponequet (5-4-2) needed to best Old Rochester, 1-0.

A hat trick from Quinn Jordan and three points from Rachel Birch (two goals) led Sandwich (12-0) past East Bridgewater, 7-0, in South Shore League action.

Mia Omondi set up Elizabeth Moore for the game-winning goal, backing Sophia Kassis’ 15 saves in net as Peabody topped Northeastern Conference foe Marblehead, 2-1. … Sophia Carson led four different scorers with a pair of goals as Masconomet beat Saugus 5-0.

Avery Smith scored and set up another goal, combining with Kaelyn Zuber’s two assists to orchestrate Dartmouth’s (7-3-1) attack in a 4-0 nonleague win over Bishop Stang. … Paige Maguire set up two goals while Lainey Burns notched a goal and assist, guiding Norwell in a 3-2 win over Whitman-Hanson.

Carsen Ventola tallied two scores and Cassidy Roche added another for Pentucket as part of a 3-0 Cape Ann League win over Hamilton-Wenham.

A hat trick from Julianna Casucci led an offensive explosion for Uxbridge, complemented by two goals each from Ellie Bouchard, Ava Rosborough and Mia Ouellette as part of a 10-0 win over Northbridge.
