Taylor Swift’s decision not to attend her boyfriend’s birthday on the weekend has started a controversial swirl online. However, before anyone would have side-eyed, the American football tight-end, Travis Kelce, confirmed that she would be showing up on Monday, 7 October.

On Saturday, the birthday boy, Kelce, was spotted during his second annual Kelce car jam at the tight end’s charity jam that raises money for underprivileged children. A media house reported that almost everyone including Mama Kelce, Jason Kelce, Patrick Mahomes, and Brittany Mahomes were present in the house. Not only this but the 1970s Chevrolet Chevelle of “So High School” made a public appearance. 

While Swift’s disappearance at the party seemed controversial, Travis made clarity with the announcement saying, “She will not be here,” but added, “I know she’s coming in for the game.”

Taylor Swift, as reported by the media outlets, is gearing up for Miami Legs of the Eras Tour; it is set to be held on Friday, October 11, 2024. This seems that owing to a demanding schedule the pop singer decided to opt out of the local charity event. Additionally, at that time, she also knew that she would be able to see her boyfriend in the next 48 hours.

While a section of netizens went into awe of the fans and how Kelce defended her, other media users criticized Swift for missing an important event, further raising eyebrows at their relationship. A fan on the social media aggregator application, Reddit, wrote, “Car jam is only from 5-8, I wouldn’t be shocked if she missed that. What we need to be ready for is if she’s not at the inevitable after party AFTER the car jam. If she’s not at that, the stans will have a hard time convincing people they’re still together.”

Another social media user said that he finds it “hilarious” that people are considering it “normal” to not attend Travis Kelce’s birthday party. His comment read, “If she wanted to be there, nothing would stop her.”

Additionally, the absence hints at an alleged contract between the couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, that went viral a month before. The contract, which was reported to be documented by their hired PR’s, stated the duo’s exact date of breakup, and the reason they will state for their separation.
