FIELD HOCKEY

In the Catholic Central League, Jordi Higgins scored twice and Bridgette McGinnis netted the game-winner with 1:30 left to lift Bishop Feehan (8-2) over St. Mary’s of Lynn 3-2.

In a non league contest, Cynthia Morales, Reese Taylor and Addie Taylor all scored with assists from Jayleigh Howarth, Addie Taylor, and Brynn McLaughlin as Apponequet tallied a win over Middleboro, 3-1.

In the Cape & Islands League, Quinn Jordan netted a hat trick with as Sandwich (10-0) rolled over Falmouth 7-0.

Emily Kiernan, Haylen Wilson and Arianna Sood each scored twice as Hingham (10-0-1) shutout Plymouth North 8-0.

In a South Coast Conference matchup, Addie Finlaw finished with four goals and an assist to lead Somerset Berkley to a 8-1 victory over Old Rochester.

GOLF

Lowell qualified for the North Sectional tournament with an impressive 11.5-8.5 victory over Merrimack Valley Conference foe Haverhill at Mt. Pleasant GC. Individual winners for Lowell were Shane Peters (3&2), Jack Gallagher (4&2), Danny Gleason (3&2), Nate Dodge (1 up) and Ben Cuesta (1 up).

In other MVC action, senior captain Jackson Burke carded a 35 to power Billerica past North Andover, 14.5-5.5 at the Country Club of Billerica.

GIRLS SOCCER

CJ Zwirek and Lyla Chapman had hat tricks as Tewksbury doubled up Merrimack Valley Conference opponent Methuen 6-3. … In another MVC battle, visiting Dracut blanked Lowell, 5-0, as Kaitlyn Jones pocketed two goals.

In the South Coast Conference, junior CeCe Levrault had two goals as Apponequet (6-6) blanked Dartmouth 3-0.

Mea Papazoglou (assisted by Gianna Parker) and Dulce Juarez recorded a goal each while Maegan Baker had seven saves in net for a Lynn Classical 2-0 win over Revere in the Greater Boston League.

It was the Natalya Raiford show for the Academy of Notre Dame during a high-scoring 5-4 victory over Nashoba Tech. Raiford netted a hat trick in the first half and collected her fourth goal after intermission.

Kiersten Higgins and Allie Lanciani recorded hat tricks as North Reading blanked Triton 7-0 in the Cape Ann League.

BOYS SOCCER

In a non league matchup, Nico Cardona recorded a hat trick as Northeast silenced Saugus, 4-0.

Lucas Menezes records his seventh shutout in net as Rising Tide (6-2-1) shut out Sturgis East, 2-0.

In a Merrimack Valley Conference clash, Andy Rodriguez and Methuen shut out Dracut, 5-0. Rodriguez registered two goals and two assists.

FOOTBALL

In the Greater Boston League, Xavier Beauchamp ran 28 times for 162 yards and a score as Lynn English (4-1) defeated Revere 22-6.

Ty Holmes tallied 17 carries for 156 yards and three scores while Jacob Bettencourt had a kickoff return touchdown as West Bridgewater (3-2) topped Case 31-14.
