Algeria Full Year 2023: Chery up to #2, Dacia Sandero best-seller

New logo vehicle sales in Algeria edge up 10.1% year-on-year in 2023 to a still meagre 27,975 units. Dacia (+0.7%) retains the top spot with an overwhelming 25.5% share, while Chery soars 69.5% to climb two spots on 2022 to #2 overall with 13.2% share. Fiat is up no less than 24 ranks to #3 whereas Kia (-2.9%) is down two to #4. Below, Seat (+240.5%) and Geely (+263.6%) stand out with surreal year-on-year lifts. Renault, #1 over the Full Year 2019 which was our last dataset, implodes -67.4% to #10. Model-wise, the Dacia Sandero is the best-seller above the Fiat Tipo sedan.
