The American fiction dystopian drama, Silo, created by Graham Yost, was one of the most famous series released last year. Starring Rebecca Fergusson as an engineer, the series earned major accolades from the audience and critics. Following a second season, fans started highly anticipating Silo season 2. Will There Be a Silo Season 2?

Only a month after its first season, Silo was renewed for a second season. The debut season of Silo received positive reviews owing to Fergusson’s acting, production design, and world-building story.

What Are The Release Dates For Silo Season 2?

As of April 2024, there is no release for a second season of Silo. Going forward with the predictions, season one finished filming in the second quarter of 2022; however, the show did not make its premiere till May 2023. Hence, the one-year time frame means we will not be able to see Silo season 2 until May 2025.

Not only this but owing to 2023’s Writers Strike, the series might have faced more delays. While there are no official announcements about the same, we can expect a season 2 release in the second quarter of 2025.

Will Rebecca Ferguson Be Back For Silo Season 2?

For those who are unversed, Rebecca Fergusson, in an interview in 2023, stated about the difficulties she and the crew faced while filming season 2 of Silo. That means we will see Fergusson in the forthcoming season.

In the same interview, Rebecca stated that owing to the SAG/AFTRA strike disruption, they resumed shooting in December 2023.

Will There Be a Silo Season 3?

Along with several updates about the second season of Silo, the lead cast, Fergusson, in a media interview, talked about the series’ future. During the same interview, she added that owing to an endgame strategy, the series is likely to be renewed for Silo season 3 and Silo season 4.

Since the filming for the second season has ended recently, there is no released footage as its trailer. With the release dates expected in 2025, we can expect to receive a trailer by the end of 2024.
