Morocco February 2024: BMW (+92.9%), Audi (+45.6%) outstanding in negative market
BMW sales almost double year-on-year in February.

After gaining 5.5% year-on-year in January to 11,074 units (+6.6% to 12,084 including LCVs), the Moroccan new car market returns to negative territory in February at -12.3% to 9,463 units (-9.3% to 10,765 including LCVs). The year-to-date tally is down -3.5% to 20,537 for Passenger Cars and up 20.7% to 2,312 for Light Commercial Vehicles.
Dacia (-0.8%) limits its fall to improve to 26.1% share, and now holds 30.5% year-to-date with sales up a fantastic 28%. Renault (-25.7%) and Hyundai (-43%) freefall whereas Opel (+25.1%) shines at #4, up one spot on January and two on its FY2023 ranking at #4. Volkswagen (-3%) rounds out the Top 10 and beats the market. The next five brands are all in positive, with BMW (+92.9%) and Audi (+45.6%) the most impressive. Kia (+24.4%) and Fiat (+17.6%) also impress while Toyota (+2.3%) is weaker yet still in the black.
