Luxembourg February 2024: Skoda (+34.2%), MG (+641.2%), Dacia (+65.8%) impress

Excellent result for Skoda in Luxembourg in February.

New car sales in Luxembourg edge up 2.7% year-on-year in February to 4,288 units, tilting the year-to-date tally into positive at +0.1% to 7,915. After two months of leadership by BMW (+23.7%), Volkswagen (+12.9%) easily reclaims the brands top spot with 14.1% share while BMW holds 11.1% of the market. Mercedes (-10%) struggles but stays at #3, distancing Audi (+7%). The next three carmakers all post splendid lifts: Skoda is up 34.2%, Renault up 29.7% and Hyundai up 28.2%. Tesla (+32.3%) and Volvo (+16.5%) also impress in the remainder of the Top 10. Below, MG (+641.2%) continues to shoot up at #11, with Land Rover (+76.7%), Dacia (+65.8%) and Toyota (+32.2%) also in solid shape. Chery appears in the charts for the first time with a single sale.
