The Tesla Model Y remains the most popular vehicle in Denmark.

11,218 new cars hit Danish roads in February, a -3.3% year-on-year loss. The year-to-date volume is now down -8.8% to 20,066. Tesla (+1.9%) reclaims the brands top spot it held over the Full Year 2023 with 9.5% share. The next four brands all fall faster than the market: Peugeot is down -12.1%, Toyota off -4.5%, Volkswagen down -30.5% and Audi down -10.3%. Reversely Citroen jumps 61.1%, Mercedes lifts 34.7% and Opel is up 19%. Further down, notice Renault up 86.9%, Nissan up 39.2% and BYD up 1811.1% to #20. 

Over in the models aisle, the Tesla Model Y (-19%) scores a 7th consecutive monthly win despite falling heavily year-on-year. It holds 7.4% of the Danish market for the month and 6.5% year-to-date. The Citroen C3 (+73.6%) advances to #2 both in February and year-to-date, knocking the Peugeot 208 (-46.8%) down to #3. The 7 remaining models in the Top 10 all defy the negative context with smashing gains. The Ford Mustang Mach-E (+4620%) is the most dynamic above the Tesla Model 3 (+693.5%), Skoda Enyaq (+220.7%), Renault Megane E-Tech (+193.4%), Audi Q4 (+132.5%), Peugeot 2008 (+104.6%) and Opel Corsa (+14.9%).
