Nissan Lowers Price of Ariya EV Now Starting at $39,590

Nissan’s latest move in the electric vehicle market, slashing the price of its 2024 Ariya model, signals a strategic shift aimed at widening its appeal among EV buyers. With the entry-level Ariya Engage now starting at $39,590, a reduction of $3,600, and other trim levels seeing cuts of up to $6,000, Nissan is positioning itself to compete more aggressively in the growing EV segment.

Trisha Jung, senior director of EV Strategy and Transformation at Nissan U.S., highlighted the importance of staying competitive in an evolving market. By adjusting the pricing of the Ariya, Nissan aims to maximize value for its customers while capitalizing on the increasing interest in electric vehicles.

The Ariya boasts a range of features designed to appeal to discerning buyers. With options for two battery sizes, front-wheel or all-wheel drive, and a streamlined lineup comprising five well-equipped grades, the Ariya offers versatility to suit different preferences and driving needs. Additionally, its EPA-estimated driving range of up to 304 miles and available ProPILOT Assist 2.0 for hands-off highway driving enhance its appeal.

Under the hood, the Ariya packs a punch with output ratings ranging from 214 to 389 horsepower, depending on the chosen configuration. The dual-motor e-4ORCE all-wheel-drive system further enhances performance, delivering a smoother, more stable ride by optimizing torque allocation and applying independent brake control.

Recognition from critics and media further solidifies the Ariya’s credentials, with accolades ranging from interior design to engine technology and safety. Notably, it has been named to various prestigious lists and received the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety’s 2024 TOP SAFETY PICK designation.

Nissan’s commitment to expanding charging options adds another layer of convenience for Ariya owners. Through an agreement with Tesla, a North American Charging Standard (NACS) adapter will be made available, allowing customers to utilize Tesla Superchargers for fast charging. Moreover, starting in 2025, Nissan plans to integrate NACS ports into its EVs for seamless charging on the Tesla Supercharger network.

To further ease the transition to electric vehicles, Nissan offers the EV Carefree+ customer care initiative, providing Ariya owners with comprehensive support and peace of mind throughout their ownership experience.

With its competitive pricing, advanced features, and commitment to customer satisfaction, the Nissan Ariya emerges as a compelling option in the rapidly evolving EV market.
