Massachusetts man accused of kidnapping girls, trapping them in church bathroom
A Bay State man is accused of kidnapping children after he allegedly trapped two girls in a church bathroom over the weekend, according to police.
Hudson police officers responded to a church on Marlboro Street early Saturday afternoon for an incident involving a man and two girls.
Police learned that 61-year-old man Michael Gadomski had reportedly followed the two girls into the bathroom and prevented them from leaving.
The Stow man had allegedly trapped these girls in the past, police said. Officers took him into custody without incident.
Gadomski was arrested and charged with kidnapping of child, assault, and disorderly conduct.
The girls were not physically harmed, police said.
“I applaud these individuals for reporting this incident and for their bravery during this process,” Hudson Police Chief Richard DiPersio said in a statement. “I would also like to commend our officers for their professionalism in helping to keep our community safe.”
Gadomski was scheduled to be arraigned in Marlboro District Court on Monday.
