The Saipa Shahin is up to #7 in Iran in 2023.

Today we can share with you production data for Iran over the Full Year 2023. Note prediction figures are very close to sales data as exports are minimal. It amounts to 1,151,586 units, up 2% year-on-year. The Top 3 biggest see their production drop compared to 2022. Peugeot, who still doesn’t share models splits, is down -7.4%. Meanwhile the Saipa Tiba (-14.6%) remains the most produced vehicle in the country but drops below the 300,000 unit mark by a large margin. The Saipa Quick, its hatchback variant (-9.5%) is also down. In 4th place the Iran Khodro Dena (+16.3%) is once again the most popular model of the brand, distancing the Samand (+6.5%), up despite its old age. The Saipa 151 Van (+74.6%) shoots up to #6 while recent launches the Saipa Shahin (+54.7%) and Iran Khodro Tara (+203.7%) power up, for the latter it’s a first Top 10 ranking at #8, overtaking the Iran Khodro Runna (-11.4%).
