According to our local partner CE Auto, the North Macedonian new car market is up 10.5% year-on-year in 2023 to 5,418 units. There is a new #1 in the models ranking: the Kia Sportage (+16.6%) lifts two spots to the pole position, a ranking it snapped at the last minute as it was still #2 by end November. The Sportage already held the North Macedonian top spot in 2019 and 2021. Last year’s leader the Toyota Corolla (-16.9%) is relegated to 2nd place. The Skoda Kamiq lurches from outside the 2022 Top 10 directly to #3, distancing the Citroen C3 (+73.3%) up two spots to #4. The VW Polo (#5), Skoda Scala (#6) and Citroen C4 (#9) also make their appearance in the Top 10.
