LIAM ANDREWS

DEXTER SOUTHFIELD

The NEPSAC and Evergreen Player of the Year helped lead Dexter Southfield to a NEPSAC Bowl game this season. The three-time All-NEPSAC and All Evergreen team member was also named the 2022 NEPSAC and Evergreen League Lineman of the Year. A member of the National Honor Society, Andrews will play college football at Penn State.

THOMAS ANGELONE

BB&N

The Independent School League Offensive Player of the Year compiled 13 goals and three assists this season. The two-time All-ISL, All-NEPSAC and All-State team member finished with a career 45 tallies and 15 assists. The senior is currently uncommitted on his future plans.

TIM BENGTSON

TABOR

The two-time first team All-New England and first team All-ISL team member averaged 155 passing yards with 90 rushing yards per game with a total of 23 total touchdowns. The senior captain also captains lacrosse while also playing basketball. He is going to play football and lacrosse as Assumption.

GRAHAM BUTTERWORTH

PINGREE

The EIL Player of the Year and NEPSAC Junior All-Star, Butterworth led Pingree in goals (12) and assists (13). The All-EIL team member also plays basketball at the varsity level. The junior plans to play soccer in college while studying business and currently plays club soccer for Aztec National USYS.

QUINN CARVER

DEXTER SOUTHFIELD

The 6-foot, 180-pound running back rushed for 1,126 yards and 16 scores while also grabbing 11 passes for 152 yards and a pair of scores. The senior finished with 26 total touchdowns and 2,315 yards on 291 touches the last two seasons. He will play football at Bates College.

MATT CHILDS

MILTON ACADEMY

Childs had a terrific senior season at Milton Academy, rushing for 1,785 yards and 18 scores. The 6-foot, 195-pounder ended his career with 6,260 yards and 61 touchdowns. An honor roll student. Childs will play football at Brown University.

KATA CLARK

BROOKS

The three-time ISL and NEPSTA cross-country meet champion, Clark set a course record at the 5K ISL Course at the Wrentham Developmental Center (18:21.89). The junior also participates in crew as well as track and field club team (New England Elite).

CHRIS COLBY

PINGREE

The two-time Evergreen Defensive Player of the Year and three-time All-NEPSAC team member had 45 catches for 581 yards and nine scores as well as four picks in his senior campaign. The 6-foot-3, 207-pound wideout/safety finished with 143 catches for 2,599 yards and 35 touchdowns. The senior is committed to play football at Villanova.

ANTONIO COSENTINO

NOBLE AND GREENOUGH

The two-time All-ISL first team member also made the All-State and All-NEPSAC Class B teams and was named the ISL Defensive Player of the Year. The senior captain netted five tallies with an assist this season and finished his career with nine goals and five assists. The NEPSAC Senior All-Star and Junior All-Star team member led his team to the NEPSAC Class B finals. He earned High Distinction in all seven of his semesters in high school and is committed to Middlebury for college while studying economics.

HUGO DJEUMENI

TABOR

The Darren Gallup ISL MVP and NEPSAC Class B Player of the Year recorded 190 carries for 2,026 yards and 25 touchdowns in nine games while also catching 20 passes for 327 yards and five more scores. The 6-foot, 190-pound junior also returned two kickoff returns for touchdowns. He has offers from UMass and Boston College.

BRETT ELLIOTT

BB&N

The two-time First Team All-ISL and NEPSAC team member led his team to a 7-2 mark as well as a John Papas Bowl victory. The 6-foot-5, 235-pound senior had over 20 Div. 1 offers before committing to Duke University in the fall.

WILLIAM FANDREY

BEAVER COUNTRY DAY

The Undefeated EIL champion and Evergreen MVP, Fandrey was a NEPSTA Div. 4 runner-up. The senior also was a runner-up at the NEPSTA All-Star meet. The high honor roll student also participates in varsity wrestling.

PETER FIUMARA

BELMONT HILL

The Souza/Healy ISL Lineman of the Year was also named to the All-NEPSAC and All-ISL teams. The 6-foot-3, 275-pound senior captain notched seven sacks on defense in leading his team to a NEPSAC Bowl game. Fiumara recently committed to play football at Stonehill.

DOMINIC FUNKE

ST. SEBASTIAN’S

The 6-foot-3, 220-pound sophomore compiled 12 sacks, 71 tackles, three forced fumbles, two strips sacks and two fumble recoveries in eight games. The future captain was also named to the All-ISL and All-NEPSAC first teams. The high honors student also wrestles and plays lacrosse.

JONATHAN GRINION

NOBLE AND GREENOUGH

The 6-foot-1, 210-pound senior ran for 792 yards and 10 scores on the season, finishing with 1,584 yards and 20 touchdowns. The running back also likes to fish and participates in track and field.

GABRIELLA HERNANDEZ

NEWTON COUNTRY DAY

The EIL Player of the Year, Hernandez recorded 473 kills and 80 aces in 20 contests this season while winning the EIL championship. The senior co-captain is also All-EIL and All-NEPSAC team member. The National Honor Society member and AP Scholar with Distinction plans to study Applied Mathematics in college.

SURI KAUTZ

CAMBRIDGE SCHOOL OF WESTON

The sophomore broke the Chapel Hill Chauncy Hall 5K course record with a personal record time of 18:53. She placed first in the MBIL League Championships and runner-up in Div. 4 NEPSAC League Championships. The three-time MBIL cross country MVP and three-time MBIL race champion also broke records at four other courses, including The Cambridge School Of Weston Jericho Forest Trial with an 18:35.

NOAH KLEIN

GANN

The junior had a 17:56 time for his best 5K of the season as well as a 5K time at the Mayor’s Cup 5K at Franklin Park of 18:30. He also plays ultimate frisbee and is likely to become a semi-finalist for a Merit Scholarship. Klein would like to run cross country or track in college.

MICHAEL LANDOLFI

LAWRENCE ACADEMY

The three-time All-Scholastic threw for 1,511 yards and 17 scores with a 66 percent completion rate while also rushing for 502 yards and seven more scores. The two-time first team All-ISL and All-NEPSAC team member finished his career with 5,908 passing yards, a 72 percent completion rate with a combined 101 total touchdowns and another 1,845 yards on the ground. The 6-foot-, 205-pound senior is a high honors student and will be attending Boston College in the fall.

AMIR LINDSEY

RIVERS

The 5-foot-10, 155-pound senior wideout capped off a terrific career with four touchdown receptions and three interceptions in the Bob Souza Bowl against Pingree. Lindsey caught 30 touchdown passes while also grabbing 12 picks in his three seasons. He also plays basketball and has been All-ISL and All-NEPSAC for both basketball and football since his sophomore seasons. A member of the BABC, Lindsey has committed to play basketball at Albany.

CATE LYNCH

MONTROSE

The two-time Independent Girls Conference League MVP and two-time All-NEPSAC, Lynch notched 20 goals and 15 assists as her team went 15-5. The senior captain is an AP Scholar with Distinction and won an Award of Academic Excellence.

BO MACCORMACK

BB&N

The three-time All-ISL and two-time All-NEPSAC team member ran for 2,150 yards and 31 scores in nine games. The 6-foot, 200-pound junior was named ISL MVP and NEPSAC Player of the Year for his accolades. He also plays baseball for the Knights.

HENRY MACHNIK

BB&N

The Class A first-team All-NEPSAC and first team All-ISL member. Machnik completed 51-of-85 passes for 1,007 yards and 15 scores, while rushing for 450 yards and seven scores. In two seasons as BB&N, Machnik had 1,649 passing yards and 20 touchdowns, while adding 839 rushing yards and 14 rushing scores. He will be playing football at Williams College while studying economics.

CAITLIN MARA

BB&N

The two-year team captain played in the 2023 High School All-American Game while being named a United Soccer Coaches All-American, Independent School League MVP, All-NEPSAC, All-Region, All-State, ISL All League, and a part of New England Soccer Journal’s Best Starting XI for the second straight season. A three-time ISL champion, BB&N has gone 63-1-2 in that stretch. She will be attending the University of North Carolina.

EMMA MCCANN

NEWTON COUNTRY DAY

The senior captain was named to the All-EIL team for the second straight season while earning EIL Player of the Year honors. The All-NEPSAC first team member was also named to the All-NEPSAC honorable mention squad in her junior campaign. The honor roll student, national honor society member and AP Scholar will be playing field hockey and lacrosse at Middlebury College.

JAMES MCCARRON

ST. GEORGE’S

The boys MVP of the Independent School League, McCarron was named to the All-NEPSAC and All-New England team following a banner final season for the Dragons. He also received the school’s Galvin Cross-Country Award. He won the ISL league meet in a time of 16:01.79.

RONAN MCDONALD

BERWICK

The EIL PLayer of the Year and EIL MVP had the lowest scoring average on his team with a 35.3. The All-EIL team member has taken first place in the NHGA Junior Invitational at Abenaqui Country Club as well as the NEPGA Junior Tour at Beaver Meadow Golf Club.

ALLIE MOORE

BERWICK

The two-time EIL Player of the Year, All-EIL and All-NEPSAC team member finished the season with 15 shutouts. a 0.45 goals against average, four goals and two assists. The senior also made the NEPSAC Junior All-Star team in 2022 and collected 37 shutouts in her three seasons. The high honors student in her freshman and sophomore years will be playing Div. 1 soccer at Davidson College.

COLE NELSON

LAWRENCE ACADEMY

An All-ISL and All-NEPSAC first team member, Nelson notched 30 tackles, 11 tackles for loss, seven sacks while catching 13 passes for 222 yards and four scores. The 6-foot-2, 240-pound senior finished his career with 124 tackles, 26 sacks, 2,363 rushing yards, 41 rushing touchdowns, 36 receptions, 554 yards and 10 receiving scores. The high honors student will be at Fordham University.

MOLLY NYE

MIDDLESEX SCHOOL

The ISL MVP compiled 25 goals and 16 assists while her team went 18-2 on the season. The NEPSAC B Player of the Year is also a multiple time All-NEPSAC team member and finished with 61 goals, and 35 assists over three campaigns. The senior is a high honors student who will be playing field hockey at Princeton.

KATE PAQUETTE

RIVERS

The ISL MVP also was named to the All-NEPSAC team for the second time. The senior captain was also an All-NEPSAC honorable mention in 2021. The student advisor does not know where she is going to college, does hope to play volleyball at the club level.

EVELIN PIRES

WOODWARD

The sensational sophomore tallied 23 goals and five assists. She now has 33 goals and nine assists for her career. The high honor roll student also participates in cross country as well as volleyball.

ANNABEL POYNTER

NEWMAN

The All-NEPSAC MVP has now been playing for six years at the varsity level. The senior captain reached 1,000 assists this season and plays on national club travel teams and helps coach U-12 Academy teams across Massachusetts. The International Baccalaureate Certificate candidate is aiming to stay in New England while playing Div. 3 volleyball.

SOPHIA RECUPERO

BB&N

The ISL Offensive MVP led with 21 goals and five assists in 14 contests while her team won the ISL Championship for the third time. The two-time NEPSAC champion was named to the All-American and All-American Watch-list this season and was named to the All-ISL team. The senior has 41 goals in three seasons and will continue her career at Duke University.

TOMMY RUPLEY

BELMONT HILL

One of the leaders behind Belmont Hill’s turnaround, the junior notched 10 sacks and two touchdowns this season. The three-time All-ISL team member is an honor roll student. He participates in track and field.

DOMINIC SILVIA

DEXTER SOUTHFIELD

The two-time EIL Lineman of the Year is also a two-time All-EIL and All-NEPSAC team member. The 6-foot-6, 305-pound offensive lineman is also an All-EIL and All-NEPSAC wrestler. The senior will be attending UNC-Charlotte for football on full scholarship.

MAX STEVELMAN

RIVERS

The two-time All-ISL and All-NEPSAC team member was part of the Bob Souza Bowl champion team that went 7-2 on the season with over 2,000 passing yards and 25 passing touchdown. The senior captain finished with over 6,000 passing yards and 76 TDs as well as a Moose Curtis Bowl championship in 2022. The honor roll student is committed to play football at Wesleyan University.

ADIN WANDERER

GANN

The MBIL MVP and two-time MBIL All-Star, Wanderer finished with six goals and 13 assists as his team won the MBIL with a 14-2 mark. The All-NEPSAC team member and former All-NEPSAC honorable mention is a two-time team captain and a three-year varsity starter. The senior plans to study data science in college.

CATHERINE WATROUS

PINGREE

The NEPSAC Class-B Player of the Year collected 29 points (11 goals, 18 assists) on the season. The two-time NEPSAC Class B Champion is also a two-time All-EIL team member while making the All-NEPSAC and All-Regions squads this season. The now two-time All-Scholastic and senior is committed to Colby College for soccer.

HUDSON WEIDMAN

PINGREE

The EIL Offensive MVP finished 101-of-160 for 1,905 yards and 26 TDs in eight games. The three-time All-EIL and All-NEPSAC team member went 276-of-421 for 5,377 yards and 79 scores for his career. The 6-foot-2, 190-pound senior is a two-time team MVP and is looking to play football at the next level while studying either something in the sports medicine world or business.

GRACIE ZHOU

WINSOR

The EIL MVP had a personal record of 20:04 this season as a sophomore. In her first season, she also claimed All-EIL and All-NEPSTA honors while placing 10th in the freshman/junior race at Footlocker. Zhou, also has a 3.9 GPA.
