QUINN ANDERSON

WESTBOROUGH

The senior outside hitter amassed 420 kills, 191 digs and 63 aces in leading Westborough to a 22-1 record and a Div. 2 state title. For her career, Anderson compiled 1,148 kills, 86 blocks, 606 digs and 183 aces. A member of the National Honor Society and Gatorade Player of the Year, Anderson will play her college volleyball at Stony Brook University.

 

ABBY BETTENCOURT

PEABODY

The senior setter had 469 assists, 92 aces, 296 service points and 138 kills as she was named to the MAVCA All-State Team. For her career, Bettencourt finished with 1,515 assists, 209 aces and 406 kills. A member of the National Honor Society, Bettencourt is a three-time Northeastern Conference softball Player of the Year. She will play softball at Brown.

 

GIANI BOERNER

NEWTON SOUTH

An all-MAVCA selection, the sophomore led the team in kills with 313. She was part of a Newton South team which made the Div. 1 state semifinal in 2022. Boerner plays basketball and enjoys beach volleyball. In the offseason, Boerner competes with SMASH volleyball club.

 

NATALIE BROJEK

ATTLEBORO

A first-team Hockomock League All-Star for the third time, the senior setter ended her career with more than 1,500 assists. A four-year varsity starter, Brojek was a Boston Herald Honorable Mention selection as a junior. A member of the Spanish National Honor Society, Brojek will play her college volleyball as Assumption.

 

DEVON BURKE

NEWTON NORTH

A member of the MAVCA Div. 1 All-State team, the junior outside hitter amassed 336 kills and 32 aces in helping the Tigers take home the Div. 1 state title. Burke also plays on the basketball team where she earned Bay State Conference All-Star honors.

 

LEA CARANGELO

WAKEFIELD

The senior setter recorded 610 assists, 64 kills and 44 aces in leading Wakefield to its most successful season in school history. An all-Middlesex League and MAVCA selection, Carangelo ended her career with 1,028 assists. A member of the National Honor Society and Class President, Carangelo recently committed to Saint Joseph’s College of Maine for volleyball.

 

MOLLY FREDO

BARNSTABLE

The senior outside hitter had 296 kills, 97 digs and 23 blocks in 83 sets during the season. The kills ranked second in the Cape and Islands League and ninth in Div. 1. For her career, Fredo had 556 kills, 187 digs and 33 blocks. A 2022 and 2023 AVCA High Honors Team Academic Award winner as well as a member of the National Honor Society, Fredo plans to major in biology/health sciences.

 

SARAH HILLIARD

OLIVER AMES

The Hockomock League’s Most Valuable Player, the senior outside hitter registered 382 kills on the season, pushing her over the 1,000-kill mark for her career. Hilliard also had 227 service receptions, 215 digs and 40 aces. For her career, Hilliard finished with 1,045 kills, 121 aces, 578 digs and 652 service receptions. A member of the National Honor Society, Hilliard will play volleyball and study biomedical engineering at Bucknell.

 

SADIE JAGGERS

MELROSE

The senior outside hitter earned All-Middlesex League All-Conference honors after registering 312 kills in leading her team to a 20-5 record and a berth in the Div. 2 state quarterfinals. A three-year starter, Jaggers ended her career with 607 kills. A member of the National Honor Society, Jaggers is part of the Mass. Impact Club Team.

 

MAIWENN KAMDJE

WELLESLEY

The senior had 335 kills and her .358 hitting percentage ranked second in Div. 1. A Bay State Conference All-Star and Div. 1 All-State player, Kamdje is an honor roll student who received the African American Recognition Award. She will play college volleyball at Tufts.

 

FIELDING MAYHUGH

WESTON

The junior outside hitter played a key role in leading the Wildcats to the Div. 3 state title. The Dual County League Player of the Year, Mayhugh had 372 kills, 247 digs and 56 aces. A two-time all-MAVCA All-State selection, Mayhugh competes with the SMASH 17s.

 

MIA MILANI

BELLINGHAM

The freshman outside hitter earned Tri-Valley League All-Star honors after registering 249 kills, 162 digs and 84 service aces in leading her team to the Div. 4 state finals. In the offseason, Milani competes with Lockdown Volleyball Club 15U National Team.

 

ADDYSON MOORE

WESTBOROUGH

A senior libero, Moore had 45 aces, 207 digs and three kills for the Div. 2 state champions. An all-MAVCA selection, Moore ended her career with 143 aces and 494 digs. Moore plans on majoring in business management in college.

 

LACEY MURPHY

BISHOP FENWICK

The senior middle hitter/blocker, Murphy had 216 kills, 106 blocks, 57 aces and a .365 hitting percentage. A member of the National Honor Society, Murphy was the recipient of the Yale Book Award. Murphy plans on studying biology.

 

ADDISON O’DONOVAN

ARLINGTON CATHOLIC

The senior outside hitter finished with more 200 kills, 150 digs and 68 aces. A two-time Catholic Central League All-Star and a member of the MAVCA All-State team, O’Donovan concluded her career with more than 450 kills, 400 digs and 140 aces. A member of the Student Council, O’Donovan plans on attending nursing school.

 

ADDISON PILLIS

IPSWICH

The junior middle blocker led the state in hitting average at just under 50 percent to go along with 60 blocks, which led the Cape Ann League. A MAVCA All-State performer, Pillis has the school record for career blocks. A member of the National Honor Society, Pillis plays for the 18s National Team her club team, MGA Volleyball.

 

ISABELLA RADOJEVIC

BELMONT

The senior outside hitter earned Middlesex League Liberty MVP and MAVCA All-State honors after recording 218 kills for a Belmont team which won its first-ever Middlesex League title. Radojevic established school records for most career kills (532), single game kills (30), career aces (158) and career digs (662). She plans on majoring in molecular and cellular biology.

 

GRACE SEAMAN

BURLINGTON

The MVP of the Middlesex League Freedom, the junior outside hitter had nine aces, 12 blocks, 280 digs, 35 assists, 306 kills and 265 service receptions. A member of the MAVCA All-State team, Seaman ended her career with 201 aces, 37 blocks, 602 digs, 394 assists, 496 kills and 540 service receptions. A member of the National Honor Society, Seaman plays with the SMASH Volleyball Club in the offseason.

 

SASHA SELIVAN

NEWTON NORTH

The freshman setter had 93 aces, 123 kills and 426 assists for the Div. 1 state champions. Selivan earned all-Bay State Conference and MAVCA All-State honors in the process. In the offseason, Selivan competes with NTDP Beach Volleyball. The honors student carries an impressive 4.0 GPA.

 

ELLEN SWANSON

DENNIS-YARMOUTH

The senior libero was named to the MAVCA Div. 3 All-State team after recording 437 service receptions, 397 digs and 47 aces. For her career which consisted of 327 sets, Swanson finished with 897 digs, 1,047 service receptions, 201 kills and 176 aces. A five-year varsity member, Swanson is a member of the National Honor Society as well as Spanish National Honor Society.

 

SAMANTHA TAM

NEEDHAM

The senior outside hitter recorded 287 kills on her way to being the Bay State Herget League MVP and a member of the MAVCA All-State Team. A three-time Bay State Conference All-Star, Tam is a member of the National Honor Society. In the offseason, Tam plays for the SMASH 18s.

 

ELENA TIMO

BOURNE

The senior had 107 kills, 343 assists, 218 digs and 54 aces for a Bourne team which made it to the Div. 4 state finals. A MAVCA All-State recipient, Timo is a member of the National Honor Society as well as the National Art Honor Society. In the offseason, Timo competes with the Coastal Volleyball Club.

 

GABRIELLA VELAZQUEZ

DARTMOUTH

The senior libero finished with 295 service receptions, 214 digs, 43 aces and seven kills on her way to being named the Southeast Conference MVP. For her career, Velazquez finished with 171 aces, 450 digs, 129 kills and 679 service receptions. A member of the National Honor Society, Velazquez plans on majoring in nursing.

 

JULIA WEBSTER

BISHOP FEEHAN

The Catholic Central League MVP, the senior outside hitter had 317 kills, 43 aces and 182 digs. For her career, Webster amassed 625 kills, 99 aces and 473 digs. A member of the National Honor Society as well as a few other academic honor societies, Webster is a captain of the team’s basketball team.

 

SADIE WELLBELOVED

BARNSTABLE

The senior setter competed in 83 sets this season and finished with 733 assists, 37 kills, 57 aces, 190 service points, 23 blocks and 150 digs. The Cape and Islands MVP, Wellbeloved surpassed the 1,000 mark in career assists. For her career, Wellbeloved amassed 1,405 assists, 396 service points, 317 digs, 58 kills and 45 blocks.

 

JESS WRIGHT

CANTON

The senior outside hitter had 400 kills, 118 digs and 37 aces for a Canton team which made it to the Div. 2 state finals. A member of the National Honor Society, Wright also plays basketball and softball. Wright plans on majoring in engineering in college.
