The senior midfielder set the single-season record for goals with 44. A two-time Cape and Islands League MVP, Avellar helped Nauset win three league titles. The National Honor Society member will continue her playing career at Boston University.

TESS BARRETT

COHASSET

Barrett had a terrific junior campaign as she tallied 43 goals and 29 assists to earn South Shore League Most Valuable Player. A star since her freshman year, Barrett is a three-time SSL MVP and already Cohasset’s all-time scoring champion with 97 goals to go with 67 assists. Barrett holds a commitment to the University of Maryland and is set to be one of the state’s top players in 2024.

LAUREN BOUGHNER

MASCONOMET

Boughner led Masconomet to an undefeated regular season and the Northeast Conference championship as she tallied 15 goals and 16 assists. The all-NEC selection guided Masconomet to a 56-5-5 overall record during her career and a pair of league championships. A three-sport captain, Boughner will continue her playing career at Merrimack where she plans to study sports management.

TESSA BRODERICK

DOVER-SHERBORN

Broderick was one of the top center backs in Eastern Mass. in 2023 as she won the Tri-Valley League Small Most Valuable Player award. She finished her career as a two-time all-league selection. Also a member of the indoor track team and National Honors Society, Broderick will attend Middlebury College.

ISABELLA CARROLL

LYNNFIELD

Carroll had an impressive junior season. The striker scored 26 goals and added seven assists to earn Cape Ann League Player of the Year honors. A high honors student, Carroll plays with NEFC North Shore DPL on the club circuit. Carroll is hoping to pursue a collegiate career on the pitch while also studying musical theater.

GEORGINA CLARKE

HOPKINTON

The senior midfielder/forward scored 17 goals to go with nine assists. The Tri-Valley League Large MVP, Clarke is a two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic. She finished her career with 52 goals in 45 games. An all-honors student, Clarke will continue her athletic and academic career at Boston College.

CAROLINE COLETTI

CONCORD-CARLISLE

Coletti was the top player in the Dual County League as she scored 24 goals to go with eight assists to earn Most Valuable Player honors. A four-year varsity starter, Coletti finished her career with 41 goals and 18 assists. A member of National Honor Society, Coletti will continue her academic and athletic career at Amherst College.

SYDNEY COMEAU

NOTRE DAME HINGHAM

Comeau was at the center of Notre Dame Academy’s run to the Div. 2 state championship. The senior forward tallied an eye-popping 34 goals while adding eight assists to finish her career with 105 goals. Also a standout in the classroom, Comeau is a member of National Honor Society. She will continue her playing career at Holy Cross.

ELLIE DEEBLE

MELROSE

The team’s attacking center midfielder/striker finished her senior year with nine goals, five assists, took home Middlesex League MVP honors and helped the Red Hawks advance to the Div. 2 State quarterfinals. A member of National Honor Society, Deeble hopes to study business in college.

KENZIE ELLIS

MEDFIELD

The sophomore center back helped Medfield limit opponents to just 12 goals allowed for the entire season. Ellis’ play earned TVL all-league honors and earned team MVP. A member of NEFC GA 08 on the club circuit, Ellis is just beginning the recruiting process where she hopes to find a collegiate home.

SOPHIA FOLEY

HANOVER

Foley was the Patriot League Fisher’s Most Valuable Player, scoring 32 goals to go with seven assists. The senior forward finished her career a two-time league MVP, netting 66 total goals. Foley is also a member of Hanover’s indoor and outdoor track and field teams. Foley will continue her academic and athletic career at UMass.

RACHAEL GENIUCH

WEST BRIDGEWATER

Geniuch was the South Coast Conference’s Most Valuable Player as the senior left/right wing tallied 27 goals and 16 assists. The five-year varsity player finished her career with 105 goals. The National Honor Society and Spanish Honor Society member will continue her playing career at Assumption where she plans to study biotechnology.

BISHOP FEEHAN

The senior striker scored 23 goals and added 16 assists to earn Catholic Central League Most Valuable Player honors in leading the Shamrocks to the league championship. An honors student, Graham is committed to Holy Cross to continue her academic and athletic career.

KORYNNE HOLDEN

WESTPORT

Holden took home Most Valuable Player honors in the Mayflower Athletic Conference as the senior midfielder scored 15 goals to go with four assists. Holden had a flair for the dramatic connecting on four game-winning goals. The two-year captain was a member of the varsity team since seventh grade. She is graduating as a top-five member of her class.

GAIA JACOBS

WELLESLEY

Jacobs guided Wellesley to the Div. 1 State quarterfinals. A four-year varsity player and captain for both the soccer and indoor and outdoor track teams, Jacobs plans to study communication and digital media at IE University in Madrid.

HEIDI LAWRENCE

KING PHILIP

Lawrence had 32 goals and 46 total points in earning Hockomock League MVP honors. A two-year captain and three-year varsity starter, Lawrence finished her career with 56 goals. Also a captain for the track and field team, Lawrence will play soccer at Bentley University.

KAITLYN LEBRUN

NATICK

LeBrun earned Bay State MVP honors. Her play helped guide a Natick defense that was the backbone of its 2023 state championship team. A member of National Honor Society, LeBrun plays for the FC Stars on the club circuit.

ANNA LESCHLY

BROOKLINE

Leschly starred as a junior as Brookline’s defensive center-midfielder. She earned Bay State Conference all-star and helped Brookline make a run to the Div. 1 State semifinals. Leschly is also a star in indoor track, taking home the 4×800 outdoor Div. 1 state title. Despite being only a junior, Leschly already holds a soccer commitment to Dartmouth College.

AUDREY LORING

NORWELL

Loring guided Norwell to the Div. 3 state title as she helped the Clippers develop one of the top defensive units in the Commonwealth; Norwell allowed just seven goals on the season and posted a remarkable 19 shutouts. A member of National Honor Society, Loring also runs spring track and plans on majoring in business in college.

LILY MARK

HAMILTON-WENHAM

The center midfielder totaled 21 points, scoring 12 goals and adding nine assists. Her play earned her Cape Ann League Baker Player of the Year. For her career, Mark scored 33 goals and totaled 59 points. A two-time league MVP and three time all-league player, Mark will continue her academic and athletic career at Williams.

SADIE MATHIS

ACTON-BOXBORO

The junior earned all-Dual County League and Eastern Mass. First Team honors as she amassed 12 goals and six assists, giving her a career total of 23 goals and 22 assists. The honor roll student has already given a verbal commitment to Yale. In the offseason, she competes with FC Stars ECNL.

CASSIDY MORIARTY

NATICK

Moriarty led Natick to the Div. 1 state championship as the junior tallied 14 goals and added two assists. The championship is the second of Moriarty’s career as she scored eight goals on Natick’s 2021 title team. Moriarty plays for FC Stars ECNL National on the club circuit.

REAGAN MURPHY

WINCHESTER

The goalkeeper tallied 11 shutouts with just nine goals allowed to lead the Red and Black to the Middlesex League Liberty crown. The senior earned league MVP for the second consecutive season. A two-time Boston Herald All-Scholastic, Murphy plans to continue her playing career at the next level.

CLAIRE MURRAY

HINGHAM

Murray scored 24 goals to earn Patriot League Keenan MVP honors. The senior midfielder/forward had 66 goals over her career, leading the Harborwomen to a state final appearance in 2021, a state quarterfinal appearance in 2023, and a state championship in 2022. Murray will continue her playing career at the University of Illinois.

GEORGIA PROUTY

DANVERS

Prouty as a junior netted over 50 points for the season, scoring 27 goals and adding 27 assists, winning Northeastern Conference Player of the Year recognition after being an all-league selection as a freshman and sophomore. Also a standout in track, Prouty holds a verbal commitment for soccer to Boston University.

MADDIE RECUPERO

HOPKINTON

The junior cemented herself as one of the top players in Eastern Mass. scoring 15 goals to go with 15 assists. Recupero was named MVP of the Tri-Valley League Large and helped Hopkinton reach the Div. 1 state semifinals. Recupero holds a verbal commitment to Princeton University.

KARA SANTOS

MANSFIELD

Santos earned Hockomock League all-star recognition for the third time as the senior center back scored seven goals and added four assists. Her efforts at the defensive end helped propel Mansfield to the Div. 2state title game. Santos was a four-year varsity starter, starting in all 74 games of her career. Also a member of the girls basketball team, Santos plans to study business in college.

ELLA SCALISI

WEYMOUTH

Scalisi was the MVP of the Bay State Herget as the junior tallied 15 goals and five assists for the Wildcats. Over her two-year varsity career, Scalisi has 25 goals. An honor roll student, Scalisi plays for South Shore Select on the club circuit. She plans to pursue nursing along with playing college soccer.

SMILLA SPASIC

NORWELL

Spasic saved her best for last as the senior defender earned South Shore League Player of the Year honors and led Norwell to the Div. 3 State title. The Norwell defense allowed just seven goals on the season and posted 19 shutouts. A three-time all-league selection, Spasic is a member of National Honor Society.

ANYA ZUB

FRANKLIN

Zub scored 23 goals and had 10 assists as the senior forward earned Hockomock League all-star recognition. The forward had 62 goals and 29 assists as a high schooler. A member of business and Spanish National Honors Society, Zub is set to continue her athletic and academic career at Stonehill College.
