St. Paul contractor Bolander celebrates 100 years in business

Bolander, a heavy civil construction company, is celebrating 100 years of operations this month.

Founded in 1924, the contractor specializes in earthwork, utilities, demolition and deep foundations and has worked on private and public projects across the metro area like St. Paul’s Allianz field.

“Reaching our 100th year is a remarkable achievement for Bolander,” said CEO Mark Ryan in a news release. “This milestone reflects not only our rich history but also the dedication and hard work of our employees, the support of our clients and the trust of the communities we serve.”

Other projects from Bolander include the demolition of the St. Paul Public Safety Annex, recovery and removal from the 35W bridge collapse and clean up of the Twin Cities Army Ammunitions Plant.
