Ramsey County to unveil plaque dedicated to lives lost to COVID-19 pandemic
Ramsey County on Tuesday will unveil a plaque commemorating the people who died as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The plaque will be unveiled at 1:30 p.m. in the great hall of the Ramsey County Courthouse in downtown St. Paul, and the event will be livestreamed on the county’s Facebook page, according to a news release issued Monday afternoon.
“This event will also recognize the extraordinary efforts of county employees and volunteers who work tirelessly and respond to the ongoing challenges of the pandemic,” the news release said.
The event will be attended by Ramsey County Board Chair Trista Martinson, County Manager Ryan O’Connor and Chief Human Resources Officer Annie Porbeni.
