Here’s How Many US Military Troops Have Recently Been Sent to the Middle East
By Jack Phillips The United States has sent or redirected much more than 15,000 military personnel to the Middle East since the Israel–Hamas conflict began on Oct. 7, officials recently confirmed. While the United States has stated that it has deployed about 1,200 new troops to the region since early October, about 10,000 sailors are currently on the USS Gerald R. Ford and USS Dwight D.
