Vikings receiver K.J. Osborn inactive in aftermath of scary hit last weekend

K.J. Osborn was not in attendance for the game between the Vikings and the New Orleans Saints on Sunday afternoon at U.S. Bank Stadium.

The 26-year-old receiver suffered a concussion last weekend after absorbing a scary hit midway through the game between the Vikings and the Atlanta Falcons. He laid motionless on the field in the aftermath, and while he managed to stand up under his own power, he ultimately had to be carted to the locker room.

Though he progressed enough to be a full participant in practice on Friday afternoon at TCO Performance Center, the Vikings and Osborn came to the joint decision that it was best to give him more time to recover.

The other inactives for the Vikings included quarterback Jaren Hall, safety Lewis Cine, linebacker Brian Asamoah, tight end Nick Muse, defensive tackle Dean Lowry, and offenstive tackle Hakeem Adeniji.
