2024 Mercedes-Benz CLE Coupe Priced Starting at $56,500
Mercedes-Benz USA recently unveiled the 2024 CLE-Class Coupe, marking the arrival of Stuttgart’s newest midsize luxury coupe. This sleek vehicle serves as a successor to both the C-Class Coupe and E-Class Coupe, offering two engine options for the American market: the 300 4Matic and the 450 4Matic. With two trim levels available, customers have the choice between impressive standard features.
Starting at $56,500, the CLE300 4Matic in Standard trim sets a high bar. Despite its “Standard” label, this base model boasts a Burmester 3D Surround Sound System with personalized music streaming and speakers in the driver’s seat headrest for an immersive audio experience. The third-generation MBUX operating system powers the infotainment system, featuring a 12.3-inch driver’s display and an 11.9-inch central touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto functionality.
Additional amenities include a wireless device charger, blind spot assist, and a panoramic sunroof. Opting for the CLE450 4Matic in Standard trim raises the price to $65,650, offering even more luxury and performance.
For those prioritizing luxury over performance, the $59,100 CLE300 Coupe in Pinnacle trim presents a compelling option. This premium grade includes all Standard trim features plus a head-up display, MBUX entertainment plus, augmented reality navigation, a parking package with a 360-degree camera, and Mercedes’ Digital Light system with projections. The Guard 360 system adds an extra layer of security, recording incidents like thefts and hit-and-runs. The top-tier CLE450 Coupe Pinnacle, priced at $68,250, remains the most luxurious option until convertible and high-performance AMG models are released.
Standard on CLE450 models is the AMG Line package, enhancing the vehicle’s appearance with larger front brake discs and a sportier exhaust system. This package is also available for the CLE300 derivative. Optional upgrades include the Night Package, various exterior colors (including exclusive Manufaktur shades), and wheel sizes up to 20 inches. A range of driver assist systems, including active brake assist and blind spot assist, ensure safety on the road. Additionally, an optional Driver Assistance Package adds extra safety features to the suite.
Under the hood, the CLE300 features a turbocharged 2.0-liter engine producing 255 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque, while the CLE450 boasts a 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six engine with 375 hp and 369 lb-ft of torque. Both models incorporate mild-hybrid technology and nine-speed automatic transmissions for a balanced blend of power and efficiency.
